Networking ..we all talk about it …social networking, personal networking, business networking, networking networking …. We join groups, churches, country clubs, service clubs, gyms, neighborhood groups, hobby clubs, climbing groups, biking groups, card groups, bunko ..etc ..all the while under the guise of “networking” and building our business contacts …building our influence group ….with the hope that people in the group that we join will do business with us…..without us actually being so blatant as to ask them if they will work with us …

Real Estate Sales Continue to Turn Around
A couple recent articles talking about signs of the bottom of the market may be upon us. One is in the San Francisco Chronicle and another in Reuters … both speaking about the positive indicators of things turning around. Never saw it in our local paper ..always have to look to the outside world for positive news. Donald Trump also said ..Buy Now ..on ABC’s Good Morning America the other day …
Don’t Confuse Success with Wisdom
One thing I have learned, observed and experienced over my 25 years of running a business is that many times the general public (myself included) tend to equate a companies apparent success with wisdom.
One example that most are aware of, regardless of your age, is IBM. … aka known (or was known) as Big Blue. Back in the 70’s and 80’s they were the company to work for, having had early success in the computer & technology markets. While today they are no slouch company they are not the dominant force they once were.
