Tim Berry is one of my favorite blog resources for business planning ideas, planning and support. His latest blog on The Trouble With Surveys is right on.
During my education to become a pharmacist I had several statistic classes. The professors drove home with us the need of a pharmacist (or anybody) to be able to determine the validity of medication studies by focusing on how the study/survey was actually done ….the process is as important as the conclusion. It’s the whole thought of Mark Twain of “Lies, damn lies, and statistics”.
It is critically important to know the methodology behind a survey before one gives validity to it’s conclusion.

That makes sense remember that survey that resulted in 3 out of 4 surveyed which equaled 75 percent.
